About the School: New Way Academy takes a special approach to supporting students with learning differences. We consider students' unique needs and strengths as we develop Individualized Education Plans that help students tackle learning challenges while celebrating learning successes. Each student's Individual Education Program (IEP) is carefully crafted around his or her educational needs and abilities as identified through comprehensive assessments of speech/language skills, motor skills and more. Throughout the day, students progress through classes designed to meet their unique individual education program goals and objectives. Students are assigned to homeroom groupings according to age and social/emotional developmental level, and assigned to academic classes according to their present level of functioning in each academic area.
